Multi-building residential development consisting of an existing building conversion and two new buildings. The existing four-story, industrial concrete frame building circa 1920s was converted into condominiums with a new landscaped terrace and mechanical area added to the roof, new interior stair and elevator cores, new below-grade mechanical basement, and two large 4-story light wells created on the east and west sides, as well as extensive concrete restoration. To the west, a new 4-story wood framed apartment building with a cellar level below grade. To the east, a new 5-story wood framed apartment building with one story below grade parking and two-story townhouse units along Lamont Street. The east building was retained and reincorporate the existing historic façade along Lamont Street. The existing 100’ tall historic smoke stack was underpinned to below the new basement level. 713 Lamont St, NW Washington, DC
